The patriot fleece by Helikon is one of the softest and warmest we've ever come across. The 390g/m2 knit is also one of the finest and smoothest you can get. Wind-chill protection for the neck and face is provided by the high collar with draw cord, which is integrated into the hood itself.

It has been designed with the military and security services in mind, as you can tell by the many zip closure pockets and the sleeve velcro for adding patches/TRFs, but it would make an excellent every-day wear item for just about anybody.
