This is the original Altberg military boot, first developed in 1993. It has been worn all over the world from Sierra Leone to the hills around Kosovo and from the plains of Northern Europe to New Zealand and Canada. The first Warrior Microlite was developed during 1991 and was a direct result of feedback from soldiers based at nearby Catterick Garrison.

We continue to make the Warrior Microlite, to the same specification, it has remained unchanged for almost 30 years, and is now a classic, lightweight, breathable combat high liability boot. The main features are breathability, good ‘drying out’, shock absorption of the sole and excellent ankle support and comfort.

The weight is 730gms (size 9) which is extremely light for a full leather combat high liability boot.

The Altberg Warrior Original combat boot is another of Altberg’s premium quality lightweight boots that appeal to soldiers deployed in rough terrain and police/security officers who spend a lot of time on their feet.

The Warrior boot is made from full grain Anfibio water repellent leather and has a Cambrelle lining which is breathable. Cambrelle also helps to keep the boots cooler in warmer climates and in extremely wet conditions will help the boot to dry out very quickly.

The boot is a 7 high lace up boot which lace in 3 parts. The bottom 2 rows are D ring, the middle 3 are speed lacing and the top 2 are hooks.

They feature a padded tongue and collars for extra comfort which are also leather lined at the top for extra wear. The soles are the Defender Hi-Traction sole - excellent up hill traction and downhill braking with micro cushion mid-layer and a full rubber rand. The midsole moulds individually to make sure your support and flex are correct.

These boots have been uséd extensively on operations in the military from the South Atlantic to Africa, Afghanistan and the Balkans. They are some of the best military boots available today and are also ideal for serious outdoor pursuits when you need a boot that will perform with no doubts.

Made in the UK by Altberg, a British based boot making company since 1989 who have been making footwear for the military and police force for over 15 years.

The boots are available in MOD brown as well as black, The MOD brown is fully compatible with Multicam and British Army MTP. Sizes are 6 to 13 and include half sizes, the width is medium.
