These US style Boonie hats are made from tough but lightweight ripstop Poly/cotton and have a wide brim to protect the neck and face from the sun. They have an adjustable chin strap to provide stability and there is a fabric tape band of loops sewn around the crown of the hat which was originally designed to hold vegetation as camouflage.
