This of one of two new designs of combined boot (Boot Combat High Liability and Boot Cold Wet Weather) produced specifically to Bundeswehr specifications and requirements. Features: Full grain hydrophobic and breathable leather (2,5-2,7mm) Thick rubber rand in toe and heel areas Non-insulated, abrasion-resistant Gore-Tex Extended Comfort 3-layer waterpoof and breathable laminate for optimate climate control through all seasons Vibram pattern, rubber/PU composite, non-slip outsole. High-quality combat boots from Meindl. The upper is made of nubuck leather with breathable inserts made of mesh fabric. The liner consisting of a Gore-Tex® membrane prevents water ingress while providing excellent ventilation properties. The Air-Active footbed absorbs perspiration and dries very quickly. Maximum slip resistance is provided by the 17 cm high shaft and carbon TPU frame technology in the heel and rubber sole. The MD rock GTX is resistant to oil, gasoline and acids.
